libappindicator0.1-cil software package provides allow applications to export a menu into the panel -- CLI bindings, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libappindicator0.1-cil
libappindicator0.1-cil is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libappindicator0.1-cil package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libappindicator0.1-cil *
You will get with libappindicator0.1-cil package name, version, architecture and description in a table
